Frequently asked questions

1. When can I expect my parcel?

Most orders (unless otherwise indicated) are processed within 3-4 working days. For orders  shipped within India it takes 3-7 working days until delivery. If you live in a remote area, anticipate a few days more.

For international orders please give 10-21 days if sent via registered postal service and 7-10 days for EMS Speed Post. Some products from smaller manufacturers who are not based in major cities can cause slight delays to orders from time to time. Generally such products will be indicated as such.In busy times of the year or in rare occasions registered parcel can take up to 4 weeks to arrive. If you have not received your parcel within this time please contact us so we can track your parcel for you.

2. What forms of payment are accepted ?

We accept payments via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express) and debit card (Delta, Switch, Solo and Visa Electron). All credit card payments are processed by WorldPay in US Dollars. Additionally we accept payments via PayPal.

3. Is it safe to enter my credit card details online ?

When placing an order the information required to execute your order is captured in two steps: In the first step your order details, shipping and billing information is captured and stored on our server. Once this step is completed control is transferred to the payment gateway as per your choice (PayPal International or Karnataka Bank, our Indian Bank partner) which in turn will capture your credit card details. The communication with those servers is using a highly secure protocol (SSL with 128 bit encryption). The data thus captured is only known to the payment gateway and is NOT shared with us. We only receive confirmation that the debit to your debit or credit card was successful. Using SSL encryption also guarantees that no one else can tap into the communication and capture your data without authorization. The system we use is identical to that of most other online vendors worldwide.

4. Which countries do you ship to ?

We can ship to any country that has a postal service and is free of strict customs rules and regulations. All orders are despatched directly from our offices in India to your postal address so shipping is available worldwide. We send all parcels via the India Post using registered airmail parcels. 


5. What is a wishlist ?

Your wish list is a list of items that you would like to have but are not yet ready to purchase. This is a feature available for registered customers. When you find a product you like, you have the option to add it to your "wish list". This is an easy way to keep track of products you would like to buy at You can also send your wishlist to a friend perhaps a week or so before your birthday or wedding anniversary!

6. What is your refund and returns policy ?

We will gladly refund you in full for any product you may purchase that you are not completely happy with. Certain products such as food items and perishables can not be returned. Simply contact our customer care department and they will advise you how to return your product. Once we receive it, we will refund your card in full. In the case of you returning only part of an order, we will refund you for the items returned. Simple as that!

7. I can't find the Ayurvedic product I'm looking for, what should I do ?

We have access to many thousands of products from India's leading manufacturers, simply send a mail to our Customer Care Team and we will source the product for you.

8. Do you sell gift vouchers ?

Yes of course we do! You can purchase various denominations of Gift Vouchers from eAyurved. Simply visit our Gift Voucher aisle and add them to your shopping cart!

Once you have completed payment, you will receive your gift voucher as a credit balance in your account where upon you can e-mail the voucher to a person of your choosing.

9. Do you accept Paypal ?

Yes we do accept Paypal and all forms of Payments that Paypal can process. Paying with Paypal offers protection for the buyer and seller and is 100% secure.

10. What should I do if I forget my password?

You can go the customer login page and click on the "Forgot password" link. You will get a form to complete and will be issued a new temporary password via Email. You can then login with this password and reset your password as you wish.

11. Will I be liable for customs charges when I order online?

Orders that are sent outside of INDIA may be subject to local import taxes, duties and fees levied by your country. Any such charges are to be borne by yourself as we have no control over these charges. If any doubts, please check with your local postal authority about such possible charges.
